"We carefully evaluated the marketplace and selected products and vendor partners based on customer feedback and their integration capabilities with AMICAS," said Barry Gutwillig, AMICAS' Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development. "This customer-centric solutions-oriented approach resonates well with a broader range of prospects as it means AMICAS will now deliver a single source for contract, coordinated implementation and first call support."

"For hospitals and imaging centers complete conversion to digital operations, the PACS software is the key component but it must be augmented minimally by CR for digital Xray, CD burning for manual image distribution and other components based on their particular goals. Now, with our expanded partner program, AMICAS offers it all," Gutwillig adds. Key to each of these partnerships' success is the strong working relationship AMICAS develops with each vendor. Not only does this allow customers to purchase entire solutions directly from AMICAS, with the new partner program, the AMICAS Insight Solutions team delivers implementation expertise for all system components, regardless of the configuration or environment. New consulting and support offerings are now available to AMICAS prospects and existing customers.
"As the pioneer in software only solutions, AMICAS tended to appeal to customers who preferred that approach. Now with our expanded partner program and services we can complement that approach with a complete turnkey offering as well," said Peter McClennen, president of AMICAS, Inc. "AMICAS can now be the single point of contact and deliver even faster implementations with excellent results for customers."
