AMICAS TO PRESENT AT THE 2006 UBS GLOBAL LIFE SCIENCES CONFERENCE

(Nasdaq: AMCS), a leader in radiology and medical image and information management solutions, today announced that executives of AMICAS are scheduled to address investors at the 2006 UBS Global Life Sciences Conference, to be held at The Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. The company’s corporate update to investors is expected to begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, September 27, 2006.
